DIXIE CHOPPER MAKING PRESENTATION TO THE MARINE RESOURCES COUNCIL AT THEIR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING SATURDAY OCT 20th; 1PM AT THE TED MOORHEAD LAGOON HOUSE

Dixie Chopper, the maker of the World’s Fastest Lawn Mower, is proud to sponsor the Marine Resources Council and their efforts with the donation of one of its commercial lawnmowers. The Classic 2760T is a new model for 2012 and can mow up to

6.6 acres per hour, which is about a football field every 15 minutes. A 27 horsepower Kawasaki engine powers the 60 inch cutting deck, making short work of the tallest grass. The mower will assist MRC with their maintenance of boat ramps and county parks along Florida’s coast line.

Like MRC, Dixie Chopper is also committed to protecting the environment. With the products and manufacturing processes, Dixie Chopper keeps green in mind. They are the only manufacturer to produce propane and compressed natural gas powered lawn mowers, both of which produce less harmful emissions than their gasoline or diesel equivalents. They also go through great lengths to reduce the amount of scrap from their manufacturing process and to recycle the scrap they do produce. To further their green efforts, almost all Dixie Chopper mowers are transported in reusable shipping containers. Since its founding in 1980, each Dixie Chopper has been designed and built in the USA with one simple philosophy – to provide the highest quality zero turn lawn mower, at an affordable price, that will last long after it’s paid for.
